Handwriter

Ok, so this isn't really entertainment, but it's something I made.  My mother, a homeschool teacher, was getting frustrated with the handwriting worksheet generator she was using for my little sister, and asked me to make an easier to use app.  So I did.  Using HTML5, Canvas, Parallax's jsPDF library, fonts from FontSpace, the FontSquirrel Webfont Kit Generator, and a weekend of work, I created Handwriter.

Choose from two line heights, choose Print or Cursive, fill out the form, check the preview, and then generate a printable PDF.

As a side note, I am working through a book on making HTML5 Web Games, and may eventually post an adaptation of the games.

Asking for Help

My dream is to make a video game based on the Crusades (at least the First Crusade). The only thing is, I'm not sure what kind of game to make. I have put a poll in the sidebar, asking for what type of game people would want. The options are:

Real-Time Strategy (Example: Age of Empires)

Turn-based Strategy (Civilization)

3rd-person Adventure (LEGO's console games)

Thanks!

The Winter Soldier

I have done it. I have finished a brickfilm. I have started several over the years, but this is the first one I have actually finished and published. This is a custom commercial for Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Created using Legos,
the GNU Image Manipulation Program
and Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9.

Welcome!

This is the first post for my online portfolio, The Gonfalon!

A Gonfalon is a form of medieval battle standard, with a banner hanging down from the arms of a cross. Gonfalons led the Crusaders into battle in the Holy Land in the tenth and eleventh centuries.

Enjoy my amateur attempts at entertainment!
